Know How to Love an Introvert

mm
Answered by dating expert Alex Reddle

When you love someone, you do, but if you mean something like, how to do you show an introvert you love them, or how do you know how an introvert loves you, then, it’s trickier. I’m sure lots of people ask these questions and look online for answers. Do you need to be patient and let them do things at their own pace? That’s tough if you want to move your relationship forward. Does anyone stick around years waiting for someone to make a move or do they initiate and push their partner out of their comfort zone?

The most important thing you need when loving an introvert is patience. Be patient and understanding with them. Respect their needs but don’t ignore yours. Put effort into giving them their space, but if something is important to you, don’t be afraid to say. Communication will always be the best option. Talk with them about what the like and dislike, about trying to find the middle ground, etc. But more important is that you listen. And if something is important and needs discussing, don’t avoid it. When an introvert asks for time to understand your feelings, it becomes their role to bring it back up.
