So, you've taken a look around Flirt.com, and now you're ready to give it a try? Maybe even create your own profile? Smart move! After all, how else can other Flirt.com members find you?

But first, you need to register. It's simple. Even better, it's free and there's no obligation. All it requires is a little information, like your name and address for starters. Don't panic. Take a peek at (protection of privacy).

Once you've registered, the fun begins. You can start by telling us all about your interests, maybe even something about your appearance, and what you're looking for in a partner. We can't wait!

A little advice: In terms of your profile, it's up to you completely as to how much information you want to provide. But c'mon, no one has E.S.P out there. Who's going to know about the yellow Miata and the St. Bernard if you don't tell us? The more details you give, the more likely you are to find a great match.

And let's talk photos. How about a nice picture of yourself? In fact, how about pasting up a whole photo gallery? It's the best way to enhance your personal profile.

Once you finish the registration process and you've set up your profile, congratulations! You are now a Flirt.com member. Whoops! Having second thoughts about mentioning your soft spot for tattoos so early in the game? At the menu settings you can update or delete (gasp!) your profile at any time.

Why a fee? And what's wrong with your Basic Membership? Think barebones. Why go for 'Basic' when you can go one better? You're here to communicate, right? And at Flirt.com, the foremost dating site, there are thousands of other members out there just waiting to hear from you. You'll want to meet them too. Luckily, this isn't 7th grade anymore, when Kelsey tells Jimmy that Devon wants to meet you as soon as your bad haircut grows out. When you get a Flirt.com Subscription, you can contact anyone you want, directly, using our Flirt.com-Mail service or Flirt.com-SMS (our Instant-Messenger). It's fun - and no shelling out for burgers and fries.

Your Flirt.com subscription will include a certain monthly budget of Flirt.com Messages. But if you run out, there are lots of other packages to choose from. You'll find all you need to know in terms of pricing in the ACCOUNT menu. Plus, we explain it a little more below.

There are two great ways to send Flirt.com-Messages:

1. Flirt.com-Mail

What is Flirt.com-Mail, and how does it work? Glad you asked! First, you'll get a personal Mailbox when you sign up. You'll find it in MESSAGES. Naturally, you can send messages from your Mailbox. And that's where you'll find your own Flirt.com mail from other members, too. The general rule is that as soon as you send a message to a non-member for the first time, one message gets written off your Flirt.com account. If the recipient wants to respond to your message, he or she can reply for free. Even better, members can send messages to other member for free, no limits. No kidding.

2. Flirt.com-SMS

Flirt.com members can contact other members via SMS. In order to receive and send SMS please register your cell phone number (see SMS/MOBILE). Sending a Flirt.com-SMS debits your Flirt.com account with one message. Every recipient of a Flirt.com-SMS will receive a copy of the message in his or her personal message-box and can now decide wether to reply via Flirt.com-SMS or Flirt.com-mail. Replying via Flirt.com-mail is for free and the sender of the Flirt.com-SMS can be activated for unlimited Flirt.com-mailing. From where and how you communicate is totally up to you!

The ICONY-Messenger

The ICONY-Messenger ONE is available for free to all members. Non-members can try the messenger 30 days for free and nonbinding. The ICONY-Messenger features chatting and flirting in real-time with other members and absolutely private. At one sight you can tell who is online and get into a personal conversation. You get an effective overview over all chat channels and you do not miss anything.
